1- Treatment of water rising in the capillaries:
Origin: All construction materials in contact with water or damp soil, are subject to a rise of water in the capillaries. This moisture can climb back into the masonry up to 1.5 meters above the ground level. In addition, this transfer of WATER usually accompanies the transfer of SALT. This generates nuisance and inconvenience.
Damage: The damage is aesthetic (flaking, dirt, peeling…) - hygienic (fungi & algae) - energy (thermal insulation), and even allergic.
Solutions: Among the different methods of wall draining (210, NIT C.S.T.C), injection of hydrophobic fluids is considered as the most flexible and most efficient.

2- Treatment of the lateral dampness:
Origin: The outer faces of the buried walls, in contact with water or damp soil, are subjected to negative pressures due to various penetrations of water.
Damage: The damage is aesthetic (flaking, dirt, disbonding…) - hygienic (fungi & algae) - energy (thermal insulation), and even allergic.
Solutions: The execution of an internal casing to the hydraulic mortar, reinforced with synthetic fibres, and finishing epoxy coating, will be a final barrier against lateral moisture.

3- Condensation:
Origin: Draught-proofing, changing the windows, insulating, cleaning a façade, which is too watertight, cause frequent deregulation of the residual moisture recycling in the habitat.
